Camp Elevate is designed for youth ages 8 to 15. Campers are grouped by age for activities and cabin assignments to ensure a fun, safe, and developmentally appropriate experience.
Safety is our top priority. All staff are trained in CPR, First Aid, and emergency protocols. Campers are supervised 24/7, and the site includes secure cabins, an on-site health officer, and well-maintained facilities that meet YMCA and ACA standards.
Yes! We do our best to honor mutual cabinmate requests, as long as both campers are within one year of age and the request is made at registration. It’s a great way to ease first-time camper nerves while still encouraging new friendships.
A full packing list is provided upon registration and includes clothing for a variety of weather, toiletries, bedding, a flashlight, water bottle, and closed-toe shoes. Electronics are not allowed—camp is a chance to unplug and connect with nature and peers.

With a calm lake or nearby river as our setting, canoeing is a favorite hands-on activity at Camp Elevate. Campers learn basic paddling techniques, water safety, and how to work together in pairs to navigate the water. This activity builds trust, coordination, and resilience—all while offering peaceful views and a fun way to stay active. From gentle exploration to team canoe games, it’s both relaxing and invigorating.
Our archery program introduces campers to the fundamentals of shooting in a safe, structured environment. Under the guidance of trained instructors, campers learn proper stance, aim, and form—building strength and concentration with every shot.
The ropes course is a true highlight of Camp Elevate, offering low and high elements that promote courage, collaboration, and personal growth. Campers are safely harnessed and coached through obstacles that test their balance, problem-solving, and determination.
