Every activity at Camp Elevate is rooted in our YMCA values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. Whether climbing a wall or cheering on a friend, campers are developing essential life skills like resilience, empathy, and leadership that will serve them long after camp ends.
Campers are encouraged to try everything, but we respect individual comfort levels. While core group activities are part of the camp experience, we offer plenty of options and electives so campers can explore interests and grow at their own pace.
Campers are grouped by age to ensure safe, developmentally appropriate experiences. This also allows them to build friendships with peers while enjoying activities tailored to their interests and abilities.
No prior experience is needed! All activities are beginner-friendly and led by trained staff who provide clear instruction and support. Campers learn new skills step-by-step in a fun, confidence-building environment.
Core activities like swimming, ropes course, and campfires stay consistent, while weekly themes add variety through special games, team challenges, dress-up days, and themed events that bring extra energy and fun to the week.
